The giving of The Golden Ball Award is a permanent feature of the Leipzig Opera Ball since 2008. This year 3D City once again is one of the sponsors of The Golden Ball 2011. The Golden Ball is an Innovation Award of fashion design and will be conferred in the category "Gala and Evening Gowns". Therefore 3D City developed for the second time a walk-through 3D fashion show. After the ceremony at the Leipzig Opera Ball on 1st October 2011 the ten most beautiful ball and gala gowns will be presented online.

Following the presentation of 'City by Night', the first track for the free 3D browser game “3D-Racing DTA”, 3D City has now made the second track available. This time we are rushing through the barren landscape of the Highlands. Make no mistake: a drive through this open country is anything but boring. Great effects make for sheer, ever changing driving pleasure. Many elements are waiting to be discovered - be it the challenge of overcoming or driving around 3D obstacles or the sound of tyres grating on gravel. As yet, not all 3D objects have been integrated into the 3D racing game. However, if you feel like taking a first look or having a crack at your high score, why not start right now? 3D City publishes the first promising screenshots of the new free browser game 3D-Racing DTA (Don't Turn Around). 3D-Racing DTA is a browser-based racing game with a 3D look. Before long, you can choose a vehicle – excavator, family car or sports car – and drive through the city by night, which is lit by thousands of lights, overwhelmed by its great 3D look.

2010 is the third year that 3D City supports the organisers of the Leipzig Opera Ball and the Golden Ball, Vivian Boddin and Sylke Schumann, in realising various video projections. This year we created various 3D animations to present the sponsors, image films and the announcing of the raffle winners. The 3D visualisations can be seen at the night of the Leipzig Opera Ball on all floors of the opera house.

The Zonders is an international artists' collective, which has already achieved cult status and has representations in Frankfurt/Main and Paris. Originally emerged from the music band Zonderstein, Zonders takes inspiration from different musical directions for its artwork and graphic design. It is a special joy for us to be able to present the works of the artists' collective Zonders in the form of a 3D art gallery.
